Auditioning 101

VA of Fregley here!

 As most of y'all already know, @warpywarpington​​ aka WarpDad is making a 2D DoaWK animated series and we still need a lot more voice actors,

If you want to audition, please follow the directions below

 How to audition: 

 1. Record yourself doing your best impression of what character you want to audition for. 

 2. Save that recording to Google Drive 

 3. In Google Drive, Tap on the recording you saved and press the 3 dots on the top right corner (for phone/tablet, you will probably already see the 3 dots without pressing the recording) 

4. Press Share (Manage people and links for phone/tablet)

 5. Press the down arrow beside "Restricted" and press "Anyone with the link" (Press change under Restricted and tap the arrow beside Restricted and tap Anyone with the link) 

6. Press Copy on the bottom left corner (Tap on the chain on the top right corner for phone/tablet) For the following steps, please make a fandom wiki account if you don't have one yet 

7. Go to this link: https://diary-of-a-wimpy-kid.fandom.c... and press 'Write a message to WarpDad"

 8. Write the title as what character you're auditioning for example: Patty audition

 9. Paste the link of the Google Drive in "Share your thoughts..." 

 10. Tap Post and wait for your reply Please ask me if you need help in the comments, Thank You!

Project Wimp under new ownership

 Hello everyone

 Oliver, voice actor of Greg, part scriptwriter of Episode 1 and soundtrack composer here.

 Warpington, who owns the show, writes, composes, and animates is most likely going to retire from Wimpy Kid fandom. 

"I'm not so excited about this fandom as I used to be, plus I have new interests in Gumball." -Warp. 

 Due to a poll on the WKA fandom, I will be in full ownership of the show. I choose everything big. Of course I won't be perfect but we ARE NOT giving up this show. I will own the channel and website full-time now. If things don't go well or we lose Nik or Mairead, the show could be cancelled.

Scripting is finished

 We finished scripting Episode 1 of Season 1!

However this does not change that we are still animating, finding cast, and voicing (except Greg's VA).

Episode 1 may release in early or middle 2024.
